To Dye For
I asked the boyfriend to join me in a wee bit of a creative venture earlier in the evening, and he politely declined citing that he hadn't done that sort of thing since he was a child. I let him know that I was going to attempt more than the usual dip-the-egg-into-a-mug-full-of-dye deal; I was also trying my hand at marble glazing.
He declined once again.
I opened the paints, scattered the sponges and went to work. And just in case he changed his mind about the entire process being childish; I filled a few wine glasses with dip dyes giving everything a more adult aesthetic.
